I assume many of the folks here would appreciate this, in spite of the corporatist contents of this post (and it could also turn into a discussion on boycotting and specifically boycotting via exploitation).

For those of you who either don't agree with Papa Johns for political reasons (like myself) or are just interested in free food, here ya go: http://www.papajohnscointoss.com/?u...13&utm_campaign=2012753953&cm_ven=ExactTarget

Be smart and use different names/name variations (middle initial), e-mail addresses, and home addresses (limit 4 codes per address). The promotion code will arrive via e-mail.

And of course, tell your friends :D

So far I've guaranteed myself 22 pizzas.
(Most of which will be given away since even I can't eat THAT much.)

Papa John's can't be considered food. :D
I generally agree. But it's free, and one can gain leverage by hooking someone else who considers it food up with a free meal (or 3, since it's a large). ;)

I, for example (being a grad student), would totally brownnose for at least an hour per pizza. :D I'd even do actual physical labor for ~15-30 minutes.

Honestly, I wouldn't give Papa John's to my dog. :smoker:

...so you could just spam this box with random addresses...and become some sort of fairy pizza god mother/pizza santa?

...spreading the joys of pizza madness.

That's because your dog is assumed to already be loyal to thee. No point in earning brownie points to obtain what one already has. ;)

Consuming Papa John's pizza is like ingesting a warm washcloth covered in mold, expired meat, and human feces. :cat:

Okay, so direct consumption is out the window. Perhaps then, you'd consider ordering for pure sabotage? I mean you DO hate Papa John's after all...

I would rather eat a McDonald's double cheese run over multiple times by a Ford F-150 in the parking lot than smell Papa John's pizza. :D

So a group of friends and I have come up with an idea to get as many free pizzas as possible and put them on the same order claiming we're doing an office pool, and having them delivered to the local homeless shelter. It looks like we're on track for ~150 pizzas.

Just an idea ;)

The catch is that you've got to order them online (which can be done days ahead of time, and you choose when they're ready). They might charge you a delivery fee per order. If so, it's best to just pick them up.

Forgive me, I've been out of the US for a couple years. So someone refresh my memory...

Why do we hate Papa John's again?

The political aspect:
http://newsone.com/2083599/the-recipe-behind-the-papa-johns-scandal-guest-blogger/

TLDR; He can't afford to provide employees healthcare, stating he'll cut hours to less than 30 a week and tack on an additional charge per pizza. Estimated cost: $5-8 million per year.

At the same time, he can apparently afford to give away 2 million free pizzas to mark the start of the NFL season. Estimated retail value: $24 million, though I assume each pizza costs the company ~$2 to produce. Not to mention the cost of the current promotion.

There's also a general complaint about the fact that he lives in a castle in the middle of a golf course, with a moat and underground garage. But hey, if I had that much money I'd do the same thing. (Though without the golf course). :D

Same here. Half off now through 2/2.

But they're making profit at 50% off, so as far as boycott via exploitation goes... :D
