What I don't understand is this faith in mathematics, that so many seem to have. Math is just a man-made language which can be used to express falsehoods or truth, fantasy or an abstract view of reality - not that there is that much difference between the two.

I found this to be interesting though, physicists have to 'fine - tune' constants beforehand to fit results of experiments, otherwise they would not get the results they want.

"The Standard Model captures the behavior of all known kinds of matter. It has been verified thousands of times in particle accelerator experiments over the last 40 years. But to match theory with experiments physicists need 20 different numbers, 20 different "constants of nature" that must first be measured in experiments. Needing precise values of 20 separate numbers before you even start making predictions seems less than elegant. Shouldn't a fundamental theory be a lot more fundamental? The problem got worse when physicists recognized those numbers needed to be very finely tuned. Change any of the numbers by a tiny fraction and the details of cosmic evolution change so dramatically that humans would never appear the Universe. Our existence seemed to depend on this "fine-tuning". Ouch."

Our existence depends on the fine tuning of physicists (?),

or is it just a theory that depends on fine tuning by its advocates for its existence (?)
Or in other words, does even the slightest variance of reality from theory, invalidates the entire theory (?)

Or is it reality that is being invalidated - It rather humorous to note that the author seems to suggest that it is better for humans never to have existed, than the cherished unverifiable theory of cosmological evolution be discounted (?)

BTW - did I mention I was a skeptic of theoretical mathematics being presented as fact... lol

Math is virtual. It exist in artificial intelligence. "Human Intelligence" or what we call "life" is only an effect, in what seems to be an infinite series of causes and effects. Therefor, life or intelligence it is artificial. The need to put things into "set" is irrelevant when discussing existence because, our existence is virtual.
Trying to discover and describe what is going on through math or science is only a justification of purpose and definition for what we call life. When all we are is the result of coincidence.

But, Life is what it is. So we set out to find the rules in our virtual world. So far, we have set rules, broken them and replaced them in what seems will happen for an infinite amount of times.
