I was just curious on how being INTP may alter your fashion sense. I'm 16 and i have a "mature""laid back" style i wear slim fit jeans pea coats, V-necks, leather boots, vans etc. Most kids my age dress nothing like this i actually think Im the only one in my whole school who dresses like their like 25. But how about you guys how do you dress and how does it compare to people around you.

Back when it mattered to me, I usually wore jeans and a solid color "polo" type shirt most of the time. Very plain.

These days you'll rarely find me in anything other than sweat pants (shorts in summer) and a hanes t-shirt that I purchased at Dollar General for $5.

I do like having a nice leather jacket.

I'll wear anything that doesn't draw attention, in any condition.

Because I don't like to spend money, most of my clothing is currently either birthday/Christmas gifted, old and well used, or bought at the spur of the moment because I decided to sleep in my truck for a few days seeing the same people each day (the parking garage was cheaper than the hotel by far). I've got a stash of "wildlifer" shirts I've picked up free from conferences. They visually include everything from basic logos to jokes about measuring squirrel testicles.

I suppose I have a grunge look since I'm constantly in need of a haircut and a shave and most of my jeans and shoes have holes. Not small holes either. Plus I walk with a bit of an uneven gimp from an... accident.

Ditto with the gifted clothes, and I'm usually embarrassed when I finally do go to get a haircut because it's such a misshapen shaggy mess.

Fashion sense.. I wear whatever fits in a way I like. I prefer loose-ish blue jeans and dark colored shirts/sweaters, most often gray and blue, sometimes a dark red or dingy white. Not really any things with icons or stuff on them.

When I was a kid I had a bunch of eclectic, nerdy shirts, chosen for awesomeness, and I'd wear any random thing I found in the morning. I still do that, only my wardrobe's been worn down mostly to the things above. A few days a week I have to wear slacks and shirts to school, same pattern. I recently took to bunching my socks up at the laundromat so I don't wear pairs that don't match.

Other grooming stuff. I am often too lazy to shower on school days, getting up early sucks enough already. I keep my hair short; at most I will tug at it in the morning to get rid of bedhead. I do like to be clean-shaven. I don't wear adornment.

Comparison to people around me: I somehow generally fail to notice people's fashion. It doesn't cross my mind to note it, unless someone else calls my attention to it. Also, someone recently pointed out that my clothing, while apparently normative, does not make me stand out any less. (Probably subjective, though.)

I dress like a bum especially since I have no fashion sense and low income. Ripped booty shorts, plain tshirts, jeggings, deep vnecks. If I had to describe my actual style besides what I wear though it'd be professional/dressy/simple.
I'm big on my hair and makeup though, i cut and due hair and have had every color. Currently I dyed it dark brown and cut it like this:

And I do wingtip liquid eyeliner and do my eyebrows dark and thinish

I consider myself to posses superb fashion sense. And most everyone else to not have a clue what fashion is about.

But as a P I keep an option open that the truth could be the opposite.

Wanna hangout? U had me at ripped booty shorts. ;)

I wear black slim jeans for pretty much all my outfits. I have very few t-shirts and I hardly ever wear them by themselves. I usually have a hoody on for every occasion (soooo convenient). I like stripes and I only really wear black. I have my Chicago White Sox fitted cap on for all my outfits. I have a couple of button-ups but I rarely wear them including two with the tags still on. I hate shopping so I too usually just go with Christmas clothes. Not to mention I can never find anything in my size... but I digress. I go anyway because I have girls to appear normal to.

I think my Ideas of good fashion are 100's to 1000's of years out of style so I just wear whatever.

I think you might even set a trend with those leopard skin loincloths. Lol

I'm pretty boring and utilitarian.

I like to wear jeans that are kind of dark and fit reasonably well. I only wear short sleeve ringer or baseball t-shirts from Old Navy, in earthyish colors. You know, totally 70s. Then I throw one of several hoodies on. I cut my own hair.

T-shirt, shorts, maybe a jacket. I have one and only one pair of shoes. I get my hair cut short then proceed to ignore it until it gets annoying at which point I will buzz it all off once more. I shave when it gets annoying.

This does not change.

I've had the same style since high school: relaxed jeans (shorts in summer), solid/screen-print t-shirts, and a hoody. Probably the most extravagant item of clothing I've ever owned was an awesome pair of pumas similar to these. I shave every few weeks, and haircuts happen when I feel like it (I made it through all four years of college without one).

And yes, this is in compliance with my employer's dress code. :D

I took a lot of shit from my friends for going out to town wearing a jacket, jeans, and crocs regularly. I just couldn't be bothered to put on shoes, I don't do it anymore because I'm scared it'll draw attention.

Fashion is for people who have got nothing better to do. I am neither a terrible dresser nor a good dresser. Normal for me is loose jeans, unmarked black/blue/white T shirts (bought in bulk from Primark every couple of years) and plain sneakers. I look so average and unremarkable that I can completely blend into crowds as to be almost invisible.

I find my clothing choices are more down to earth- and no outfit is complete without a hat and scarf combination.
