You could say that.
So much emphasis on creativity and problem solving nowadays, sheesh. Well I'll tell you a more interesting thing to do for a change. On a completely blank slate: come up with a creative problem. They needn't be original; just creative from your perspective. Now I would have interpreted that as a problem that requires creativity to solve (and checked that anything I could come up with was actually a creative problem), but there's other ways to think of it too. Something could be a creative problem even if it had a straightforward solution.
So here today I'm gonna exhibit three (not so great) examples I had some fun with:
E.g.1: Mathematical. Do there exist functions f,g: R->R with Im(f)=Im(g)=R, Im(f),Im(g) containing countably many irrationals (each), yet f(g) (f of g) having uncountably many points which map to an irrational? (quite easy to show there are). Is the set of pairs of such functions countable? (again easily no). Can it be bijected with R?
E.g.2: Conceptual/typological. Which type would fare worst if it was transformed into a carpet for a year, while still retaining all its mental faculties?
E.g.3: Philosophical. What is the hardest question? Not something to which I'd ever seen something similar asked before. And the answer is intriguing... http://www.intpforum.com/showthread.php?t=20088
