Right on... a set of rules makes a situation feel applicable thus allowing me to feel practical. Yet, in turn, diminishes actuality. Oh the irony of our conviction to structure/rules & the ceaseless revision (and desire to do so) of them.
This hits home. Hate & am not good at lying, yet omission or a non correction of something I don't agree with seems equivalent...
The kicker being, like you've stated, pointless conflict or disruption is even worse & more irrelevant.
