Polaris was tired and about to log out, and completely forgot to announce the ban in the bans thread. Apologies for the confusion it may have caused. It was purely an administrative issue.

Hmmm....

"14/ Multiple accounts are not allowed without prior approval of the staff and forum transparency. Unapproved accounts will be banned."

Pretty sure this translates to: Multiple accounts are not allowed without prior approval of the staff, in order to maintain forum transparency (a benefit to members and staff alike as dupe accounts can be seen as means to confuse and mislead the community).

Dupes may on the very rare occasion be allowed if there for some reason is a need to protect the user's identity or for other more serious personal issues.

Only 6 Tumblrs in 30 minutes? "Slowpoke" is correct -- I recommend merging the accounts and keeping that name as his active userid.
