It's a basic dungeon crawler. $20 on STEAM. Well worth it.

Created by a crew of ex-Diablo and WOW Blizzard people that weren't afraid to directly rip off those venerable games. Single player mission will take you 10-20 hours if that's all you do, but there are a number of side activities to distract you, not to mention figuring out how to get the best armor etc. as you level up.

I won't lie to you here. What there is in the game is very polished and well done, but the title is limited. Only three character types, and there seems to be so much that isn't developed. A whole town and people with only a few shops and quest givers in it. Everything looks and plays right, but it has this pre-release feel. Still, it was released in conjunction with a dev kit. There's already an active mod community, and the full release of the game has only been out a couple months.

No network play. I know, I know, that just sucks. The company says they are going to release some sort of full scale mmorpg compatible with Torchlight. Don't know exactly how that's going to work, but it sounds interesting.

For $20, I think it's a good purchase. If you like dungeon crawlers, you'll have some fun with this. You can get the demo on Steam too.
