hey, i need an idea for a stop motion video by monday for a 5 week or so project. any ideas?

Some info;

  • the video must work almost as well without sound as with.(so music videos and such are out of question)
  • I have a ton of legos
  • I'm not very good with clay
  • I can draw fairly well
  • I live in a semi-rural area
  • I can probably rustle up some friends if need be

Create a storm out of legos in the middle of a forest or something.

I would definitely do something with legos, it's more effective than clay or drawing IMO.

Me and some buddys made a few stop-motion claymation videos in high school with a basic video cassette recorder and it worked great. If you can find a friend who can make decent clay figures i would suggest that, you can make anything out of clay, not so with legos. Incorporating both would be great (legos for buildings, clay for characters)

What does it have to be about? Anything? We once made 'Clay MacBeth'. It was hilarious. Making a short clay version of a serious classic is a ton of fun. Five weeks is a perfect time-frame for this.
