In the spoiler there's a fun episode of the Lotus Eaters about the future of robots, you don't have to watch it.
The gist is that humanoid robots are probably as inevitable as electric cars and when they arrive they'll provide the services of an aged care worker. Imagine having a maid or butler that cleans your house (all of it), receives deliveries while you're away, can do simple meal prep (meals will be sold in easy to prepare packs), acts as a personal assistant and receptionist (reminds you to take medication) and can respond to fire, intruders or a medical emergency by calling emergency services and perhaps by providing some basic first aid.
Young people won't see much value in them but as you get older and hopefully wealthier the benefits become more appealing, so it would be a novelty for people in their 40-50s and a must-have appliance for the elderly and disabled.
ALSO given how bad the demographic situation is in all the developed nations I expect we're going to see life extension going from being the ultimate luxury to an economic necessity (unenthusiastic) yaaay, we get to work longer.
