Realization

Last night I was surfing through different sites of why people are the way they are. I found nearly nothing of interest. I encountered sad stories of love lost and so on. I then find this MBTI test. I figured it was another ridiculous test that gave an output along the lines of, "Your a romantic". As I finished the test I received a four letter label that had no meaning to me. INTP? I spent the rest of the evening discovering that this four letter label was exactly what I had been searching for. My adventure eventually left me here. Within the grey boxes of this site lays an intelligent community! I would rather be stimulated mentally by a group of people much like myself, than the arrogance that is in essence, "Facebook".

I'm not much more than a vessel for too many collective thoughts, but here is a simplistic introduction to that which is Rikki. I'm 19. I currently attend college, and work a mediocre job at a restaurant. I enjoy playing guitar, and watching natural beauty happen before my eyes. I look forward to much insight into the minds of other abstract thinkers.

Be wary, not everyone here is an "abstract" "thinker". Must be quite also. Cats are watching us!

Facebook is a challenge, especially if one dislikes cats. However, within that mega-site of a billion users there are a handful of individuals worth befriending. Usually they are total strangers and not former/current acquaintances.

The new search function is perhaps on the right track (?), but I found that until I had assembled a friend list of 25 really active and intelligent users, facebook was of only intermittent amusement.

That being said, "Welcome!" and it is hoped that this forum will provide more than a temporary, intermittent source of amusement for one.
