Black Rose
An unbreakable bond
I did a math test similar in difficulty to the 1974 SAT
It took me two hours and I had to skip half the questions.
The instructions said not to use a calculator and I did not take a practice test.
And I have not been to school doing math for a long time.
It said I scored in terms of IQ, my ability to solve problems better than 75% of the normal population.
The highest score possible is better than 99.999% of the population.
This made me think about what it means to hold and manipulate information in one's head.
I learned that the dorsal lateral prefrontal cortex (DLPFC) is what holds information.
This brain area tests ways to get around problems.
It takes many objects of attention and compares them together.
This then is helped by the emotion centers a task should be done. (yes/no)
Once we know what we want to do, we move around to do actions. (stop/go)
Those actions that worked and did not work are stored in memory.
The number of things we can navigate (get things around each other) is based on this process.
