A brief background before I ask my question:

I got interested in MBTI to help myself better engage with people, and to see if I can shed more insight into the people around me. I was also very intrigued in type reading other people as well. I just started getting into this, so I'm relatively new to the MBTI theory. I have read a book about becoming more influential (in a workplace setting) and it was related to MBTI theory. Also, I checked into http://www.keirsey.com/4temps/overview_temperaments.asp
and personalityjunkie.

Of course, I wanted to know my own type, and so initially, I did the test found on humanmetrics.com. I answered the questions quickly, and to the best of my knowledge, and it resulted with INTP. Reading the brief description, I was enthused by how much I could relate to it.

Setting Up My Question:
While perusing this forum, I have found many topics in which I am interested with. However, I am finding that perhaps, I might be different than the INTP's found on the forum. For starters, I seem to respond with 'feeling' a lot more than what the INTP's here do, (generally). And so far, I made a thread "Monkey's in a zoo" which was trying to express a more "ideal" world. This made me wonder if, maybe, I might be INFP. I do have an INFP friend, and I can relate in some ways.

However, in many other ways, I am kind of emotionally blunted as well. A job where I have to care for people, to me, is a nightmare, and I am absolutely horrible for emotional support. I don't have a solid grip on my emotions, and I also lack a little bit of emotional intelligence. I also love logical problem solving, and I am at peace while doing work with it. I enjoy fixing electronics, and tinkering with some mechanics, and I also enjoy software programming.

Yet, bouncing back again, I do empathize with the feelings of others, and I feel I can understand different kinds of people. I do value what others feel, I'm just not great with how to act.

When reading INFJ descriptions, and ISTP descriptions, I also find lots to identify with as well. (I haven't read all the types).

My Question:

I decided to go back to the MBTI test again, and really think of each question. I made sure to really understand the questions being asked, and assessed all the different scenarios in my life, before I confidently inputted an answer. I answered as honestly as I could, and self-reflected, to the best of my ability, in the most unbiased fashion.

Here were my results - I(78% preference), N(62%), T(12%), P(56%)

I was hoping some of you who know a little bit of MBTI, maybe shed some light some light on my type. Do I seem like I should be a different type?
