A few months ago, I became engrossed in the MBTI after a day in frustration about societies members blindly conforming to social norms. I wanted to discover a method of interacting with my fellow high school students that would allow me to have an almost predetermined conversation; this goal was considered to be heartless by many of my friends  . However, although this may be evil, I wanted to remained ingrossed with the curiosities of the mind, ranging from calculus to quantum mechanics to philosophy, without being interrupted for the thousandth time explaining why I was facinated such information. To my supprise, and slight horror, I discovered in my quest that I conformed to a group much like me, all disturbingly similar. In the following weeks, I questioned how all of the worlds diversity could be categorized into as few as 16 strata, and how similar all members of that catagory were to each other, mainly to determine the roots of the disturbing accuracy of the MBTI. From this pondering comes my question to you:
What characteristics do you share with other intp's that you thought were unique?
To initiate this, I was told by my psychologist I visit every Thursday I had ADD, OCD, anxiety disorder, and insomnia. Also, I believed I was the worst speller, and the most disorganized person in my highschool by many of my teachers, specifically my english 10 teacher who said 'Nicholas, this disorganization will lead to your demise.' I am I male (15 years old) in his sophomore year of highschool if you are curious.

To initiate this, I was told by my psychologist I visit every Thursday I had ADD, OCD, anxiety disorder, and insomnia. Well, INTPs can be a heterogeneous bunch, but here are some relatively unique traits that I share with some other INTPs:

1.) Strongly introverted
2.) Pensive/obsessive
3.) Self-determined
4.) Intuitive
5.) Private
6.) "Social chameleon"
7.) Rational
8.) Passive/flexible
9.) Open-ended
10.) Constantly pondering metaphysics
11.) Skeptical (of everything, including myself)
12.) Pragmatic/utilitarian
13.) Oftentimes oblivious of external reality
14.) Highly imaginative
15.) Knowledge-seeking
16.) Scrupulously logical

No offense to your psychologist, but if you truly are an INTP, then I would question the idea that you have OCD and ADD. NTs in general and INTPs in particular can think obsessively at times and this may bear a resemblance to OCD. Additionally, INTPs can have very different interests from the people (i.e., Sensors) around them, oftentimes resulting in an apparently inexplicable disinterest which may resemble ADD. Both my ENTP brother and myself have exhibited some symptoms of both disorders, but I wouldn't be too concerned unless you begin doing things like washing your hands for 45 minutes.

I used to have social anxiety, too--so much that my participation grade suffered in one of my 9th grade classes because I refused to speak in front of the class. I also used to habitually stare at the ground in public settings. I think with time and experience you may come to learn, as I did, that social anxiety is irrational.

I'm not sure what to say about the insomnia, though... However, I will say that you should heed your English teacher's advice. INTPs are, by nature, disorganized procrastinators, but my experience has revealed to me that abiding by schedules and plans can entail huge rewards. Otherwise, you'll eventually have to pay a price for being so disorganized--as I did many, many times.

Other than that, congratulations, you're an INTP. Welcome to the INTP world.

Yes, I am an OCD, ADHD, occasional ASPD, Autistic, GAD, and SAD.

It just spells IXTX.

You know you have organization issues when every single teacher mentions 'disorganized' in every single comment they make about you for 13 years straight. I was getting that stuff since kindergarten.
