Hello!
This year I have gone on a social media purge, and honestly it has been one of the best behavior changes I have done for quite a bit of time. I had been rewarding myself with almost meaningless feedback of likes and being labeled "Interesting". With that identified, I have found that I truly desire some exchange, some transaction of knowledge. There is a craving for learning that is not being satisfied.
And so I am here!
I am highly interested in problem solving and the topics of philosophy, anthropology, and psychology. The concept of self, of identity and the relationship it has with the world is probably what I think about the most.
Professionally I am a software engineer. My hobbies includes this, as well as photography, art in general, cooking, conversing, and researching systems. I have two cats, Shadowfax and Radagast. And one dog, Bane (NOT a batman reference). I have experienced several major mental health episodes--some in response to trauma--but I slayed these savage beasts and display them with pride. Undefeated in war.
I am excited to hear back, and I hope that I will have the opportunity to learn much from each of you.
