I've yet to see it a second time so I haven't had that objective, non-geek out viewing yet. When I saw it, I sensed the disappointment around me, but that made me weirdly giddy. Ever since Episode I, I've felt like the over-arching narrative is about the restoration of balance to the force...

Perhaps it's an autobiography for a more terrible version of the real me (Yes, I can be worse, believe it or not). It's meta. The book is about the writing of the book. At its core, it's about the madness of art. This is a golden idea! It really is.
