I actually have very few youtube subscriptions. i have eclectic tastes in music due my age and musical training.

However, I am always on the look for new music - you know the kind that could be scored etc.
Anyway here are three of my subscriptions - each different, but perhaps of interest,
perhaps other forum members could list a few of their subscriptions with the genre (?)

I do not know if that was addressed to me or the forum in general (?). The first video had some interesting imagery, rather sophisticated stuff. The second not so much. The tunes were nice, the female vocalist of the 2nd had a good voice.
However, personally, I do not consider very much music that contains lyrics to be pure music. IMO it is usually just some mediocre poetry, with any real music value sacrificed to the message of the lyrics. Yet the human voice is a wonderful musical instrument, in and of itself. I just do not like to have to 'work' to translate the message from the lyrics while relaxing with music.

I usually just listen to instrumentals or vocalists singing in languages i do not understand so I can appreciate the voice without having to engage that part of my brain that deals with words..

Like i said i have eclectic tastes...
