After reading the Avatar Changes thread, I thought it might be a good idea to devote a thread to posting/discussing the avatars we've used. Doing so might help some users keep up with who's who, and it might also be interesting to see the various expressions members have used as avatars. If you can, please post some of the ones you've used, or maybe just discuss them if you don't feel like posting them.

Here are the ones I was able to recognize while going through my files:

I've decided the one I have now is my favorite and I probably won't change it for a while, unless I find something really awesome I like much better. lol

Here's the variations of mine. It started out as a photo of the back of a guitar I airbrushed and then I just photoshopped it in various ways.

A small survey of my hard drive revealed 20+ avatars I've used, and those are just the ones I've kept, there are quite a few I've gotten rid of. I think I may have identity issues. :phear:

There are definently quite a few I've left out, but I've listed the important ones.

How do I get an avatar? I feel stupid for posting this, but I'd like to have one and I'm computer illiterate.

No worries. Click on User CP, Edit Avatar and then you can upload by url or by uploading the picture yourself.

I get to my user control panel by clicking private messages under my name in the upper right corner of the page. From there there is an 'edit avatar' link. Click it and you should be able to upload a picture from your personal files or use the url from a picture of the web. You may have to resize it if what you choose is big. I just use paint to cut the size down, save it and then upload it from my files. I hope this isn't to confusing. Re-reading my description, I barely understand it.

Edit: Crap! How could I have missed the User CP tab for so long?!

Figured I could post some of my previous avatars, the ones I remember. I've been asked where I found some of them before and wouldn't mind giving credit to the artists, anyway.
