my name is dan.

i am a ski bum at the moment.

hoping to go to grad school next year for philosophy, eventually get my doctorate, and with some luck get into a professorship.

but don't worry, i am definitely not one of those intellectual snobs/elitists.

i can't guarantee i'll post a lot, but we'll see how it goes. it would certainly be nice to learn a little about myself and others and to find some intellectual stimulation from somewhere besides my own head or a book for a change.
