What type was Robin Hood?

INFP ?

The Sheriff of Nottingham was ENTJ and his deputy INTJ.

And Little John, Much the Miller's Son and Will Scarlet, Maid Marian or Friar Tuck.

ISTP. Although fictional characters are somewhat hard to type because they have fictional personalities.

I would agree that he is an ENFX.

E - He had selfless ideals formed through his idealistic nature (NF) that he wished to enforce upon reality. He focused on the external world with his vision and aimed to apply it.

NF - The NF is the combination which creates a sentimental visionary with a desire to 'serve' the people. The ENFX type will attempt to influence their external world with these ideals and manipulate it to be adequate to their standards. They become a revolutionary figure for freedom to certain people's minds.

An example of an ENFX would be Obama preaching for change through his vision or a religious leader acting to bring their belief upon others to 'enlighten' them.

ENFJ was the first thought that came to mind. I imagine a P might question whether they want to steal from others whereas a J would just say "I think that's a good idea, now let's get to work and do it". (based on close ENFJ and ENFP friends who may or may not be representative of their types).

Does anyone have a good knowledge of Robin Hood to judge whether he was P or J? I think that we should also decide if Robin Hood had strong extroverted feeling (dominant function of ENFJ) or strong introverted feeling (auxiliary function of the ENFP).

I go for the INTP Contrast (to ENTJ) on the type relationships.

Maid Marian is INFP.

Triar Fuck is ISTP. Little John is ESTJ.

Interesting. You're using the environment to judge the subject. However, this method relies on one being correct with their assessments of the environment.

The Sheriff (ENTJ) and Deputy (INTJ) is based on real life experiences on who runs organisations, companies in real life. I ws thinking more of Social Services, Local Government, as in the commercial world it is a bit different. In commerce the leader may very well be a ESFJ or ESTP.

My second rated one was Little John and the last Prince John. I am not sure of the secondary characters.
