I made a post last night, and then I saw a little odd symbol by my post and it disappeared when I refreshed the page. So I thought it got deleted or something and made a new post. Now today, looking back over the thread, that first post is there.

We have a spam filter here and when posts get in there someone with moderator rights has to approve them. That happens usually when the posting contains an external link.
Mind you that we never ever check the quality of the postings. Only real spam gets deleted.

When I go to bed and wake up at the next morning and look at the unapproved postings, there are usually ~5 spam messages with Viagra, WoW gold and god knows what else.

I know that this method is annoying but I have to admit that it is the only way to protect the forum from spam bots.

Yeah it's cool, it had my email in it is why I guess. I'll just not put my email in the posts.
