Type Functions

Hey I'm new to the intp forum, i made a test thread before i made this one called "t" because i'm also new to this kind of communication, but it seems pretty straight forward, so i think it wont be hard getting used to it all, i do however don't know how to delete a thread once i make it so if anyone can help me with that id appreciate it.

so the main thing i want to do here is try and understand the different functions more clearly. so basically I've been on many different sites on the internet and I've read through all the descriptions about the different functions and such but I'm still having trouble getting a hold on some of them especially Ni. so i figure the best way to understand them is to compare them with each other.

I'm an intp so my functions go Ti Ne Si Fe and my shadow functions are Te Ni Se Fi, what i would like to know is the difference between Ti and Te, Ne and Ni, Si and Se, and Fe and Fi and i would like to get very detailed answers if possible hopefully by an expert since i'm trying to understand all these functions more deeply and i'm also trying to understand when someone may be using certain functions and if its possible to use more then one at a time and also if its possible to use the shadow functions and to what degree. thanks.

You can't spell funtions without fun!!!!

Questions: it is actually impossible to not use one function at a time, they are linked, and all four can actually be used simultaneously, even though it takes a lot of energy.
And no, we don't use our shadow functions. We have them (They are unconscious) but we have no control over them like we have control over our top four.
