I find it funny how much effort and concentration you put into the butt on the female figures.

Anyway, I really like the particular sketchy quality you have. I know, this isn't all that descriptive, but it's an awesome sort of sketchy. Reminds me of Leonardo Da Vinci's sketches. They seem to have much more vitality than his paintings ever did, even if they were nearly flawless. I take it you are a fan? (the fetus in the first picture looks very familiar...)

And though you didn't post the skull sketches the second time around, I really like how you rendered those, both sketchy and accurate, showing both essence and structure. Have you considered drawing a full skeleton from life? I think you'd do great. And caricatures seem to be your thing. At least you did well with Mr. Edmunsen. It's apparent from the way you draw what he's like and what you think about him. Ever tried political cartoons?

Overall great stuff.

i have a strong interest in da vinci sketches, yes :)

thank you for the compliment, sketching is what i prefer, as you say it is more expressive and has a certain messy charm, rather chaotic (i like chaos)

i hardly ever do chariacatures, these are the only ones. you think i should. i might try it. i am still developing an 'identity' as they say....

I thought I had already responded to this, but maybe it got lost..

I love the squiggly sketchy style. A bit too squiggly perhaps? But I know it's very hard to pin down... There's a mural in my uni's cafeteria and it's got this crazy tiger and elephant drawn like that, just amazing. I once tried to draw it but failed miserably..

I remember there used to be a drawing forum I used to lurk, where there was some teacher that called himself the "bone doctor" or something like that. He had these insane anatomical drawings, both skeletons and nudes, that had a very da-vinci like quality to them. Even the handwriting. I don't know what ever happened to that forum.... must. find. it.

EDIT: Found them.

Quite good, your drawings remind me of my brother's (he's mostly drawing characters for rpgs etc. D&D style half-orcs and Conan) At least your lines are quite alike.

If you keep up this work you may find that it explodes in a few years,
(I speak from experience ;))

Though some of the images seem a bit flat,
If you want to improve the depth you could start doing croquis or drawing from real life, with models ;)
Even, going to cafe's and drawing random people will help boost the process immensely.

That's the one that really did it for me.

Still, I'm particularly impressed by the study of the skeletal structure.
