I'm not denying it can do good for some but I have gotten more out of 3 days in this forum than I ever did from therapy.
I figured as much. I will have to admit I've only seen 2 and not for very long. I was getting more depressed/more anxiety as I was very much into pot at the time and with the amount of money I spent/borrowed for therapy I could have bought 4x the amount of pot I would normally spend money on or I could have gotten the really good stuff. That's when I figured I could do better finding my own path. Too bad I'm so slow to be able to get myself to do anything. Most of us have seen therapists and a few actually are therapists.

Therapists, like members of all professions, have their gradients of usefullness and skill. Being of a personality minority might also contribute to the trouble you've had with therapy; most therapists will probably have been trained to deal with the woes of SJ-type patients. The things that may bother you might seem trivial to them, or even beyond their comprehension, and could prompt them to slap you with a catch all label like 'depressed' or 'socially anxious' or whatnot.
"Personality minority"... I like that.
