Anyone else watched this anime?

In case you haven't seen it: It's about the most pessimistic person in the world. He's a teacher, and his students range from a stalker, to the "methodical and precise" girl, to the most optimistic person in the world.

My favorite line was from the most optimistic girl talking about people hanging themselves. "They were just trying to become taller! I remember when times were hard, dad used to try to make himself taller all the time. Mom even tried to become taller once!"

Oh, it's so funny.

I thought it was an amazing series. Have seen Zoku Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei, Goku Sayonara, and Zan Zetsubou-Sensei (part of). I got into it after completing Pani Poni Dash, as one of the mains from PPD was the main (Kafka) in Sayonara, and the two series are somewhat similar in theme and scope, though SZ-S is darker (or . . ."darker"). I loved his ability to inflate everything to societal proportions and beyond. :D
