Posting Question

A cohort of mine recently signed up for INTPf. After trying to post a thread he was greeted by the following:

LightSpider, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Also, when viewing other threads the 'quick reply' box was missing, rendering him incapable of any posting whatsoever. So what's the deal? I mean, hey!

If that's his name, he's not showing up on the member list. Silly question perhaps, but did he confirm his registration?

Strangely, he didn't receive a confirmation link, his email:

This is rather like when, with hilarious consequences, the old sitcom staple of someone asks a doctor etc. for 'advice for a friend' occurs, and the existence of that 'friend' is doubtful.


The machinery has flagged Jedi as LightSpider, and utterly coincidentally has separately flagged LightSpider as Jedi.



And in any case it is not necessary to confirm, so no link is sent.

I also have a friend who is experiencing the same problem and has found no solution, so I beg of you Ti masters to find a solution.
