Hello, everyone. You've yet another newcomer that would appreciate a welcoming and perhaps a tour around your humble abode!

Like many others, upon taking the MBTI instrument and discovering that I am an INTP, I stumbled across this gem of a forum. I'm still a newbie in this area and have no experience or clue on defining different traits or determining the outcome of the combined, so be gentle!

I look forward to meeting all of you. =)

Ugh, because that other account was mine and I didn't realize there would be no option to differentiate a user name from a display name. I will contact administration in an effort to have that account removed.

Did you ask for permission to create multiple accounts beforehand?

No, I didn't. I wasn't aware that was a requirement. I sincerely apologize if, by not doing so, I broke any of the rules. =(

edit: My initial intention wasn't to create multiple accounts, but I realized after creating the first one that I had threatened personal security (as I assumed user names could be masked by display names), but I suppose I brought more attention to the matter by creating a second account than I would have by simply keeping the first. Fail.

You run up in this motherfucker, breaking all the rules, causing a commotion on your first day? How do you think that reflects on you as an individual? This is me judging you critically with my frownie face.

Anyways, welcome to the dark side. The cookies are on the table by the coats.

As an INTP, it's my prerogative to break rules to achieve certain goals, muh ninja.

:hangs his coat and helps himself to a cookie:

And furthermore, not only did I admit my mistake, but I also apologized for it and made an effort to fix it, so you have no room to complain.

:grabs another cookie:

These are fucking delicious. Oatmeal?

What is this concept, 'gentle' of which you speak?
I suspect it's rather foreign to our nature. :twisteddevil:

Anyway welcome to our not-so-humble forum. Do mind the burning pit of despair to your left, one wouldn't want to trip.

If I may ask, what question(s) did you answer that gave you an 84% on the thinking axis rather than 100%?

Probably didn't read the rules like everybody else. However welcome for as long as you are allowed. Btw who was that other member?

I'm honestly not sure, as I don't remember all of the questions and corresponding answers. Why do you ask?

About those cookies...Oh well, there's nothing for it now.

Welcome!

You enjoy reading, as you should, so my question is: What do you like to read?

Answer quickly because you may not have much longer before you're incapable of doing so. :D

Nonsense. 84% thinking hardly means I'm not open to theory and ideas. Please, finish your thought.

Well then... I was never insinuating that is what that means at all. I always used to get 84% on the test... probably much lower now.

Anyway, the only reason I asked is because (as stated above) I got 84% frequently, due to, I believe, one question, and for some reason or another, I inquire about it to other people who have 84% to see if it was the same question. Really not useful information in any way.

I sincerely wish I could provide you with answer. And I absolutely do not consider it useless information. At the very least, it fed my curiosity as to why you inquired about my results.

Is it unsettling to you that you scored an 84% on your Thinking criteria? If so, why?

:starts biting the heads off of snakes:

Om nom nom. Almost as good as the cookies.

:shouts from the snake pit:

I enjoy reading everything from Einstein's Theory of Relativity to Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. Alice in Wonderland happens to be my favorite book, followed by Through the Looking-Glass.

The Gentlemen are all but gone from the world.
I am but the last, apparently.
At least, I'm always the one holding the door while all 65+ of my work colleagues filter out with the odd 'Thanks!' 'Gentleman!' or the occassional demeaning 'D'awww'.
It's dreadful, it's as if once you let one person out, a hundred more appear, and you dislike slamming it close on people, because it's a coded door which resets itself once shut and takes a few minutes to open, and people are always so anxious to get home.
Anyway, I'm sure you don't want to hear about that.

This can never go far enough!

Also do as I do, let a couple through then walk through, eventually the door will just stay open because of all the people going through. I will only hold a door if I see someone is coming after I had already opened it, but since I am slightly blind I tend to not notice people.

*looks around, oh yeah that is why I am here*

Welcome, now if you will just walk this way *starts hobbling* we'll get you all set up, good. Okay here is your badge, just don't be caught without it, the robot guards don't take kindly to non-badge wearers.

Now sign here, and here....

And here...

And here... (ten minutes later)

Okay last place, great that should be it! Now have fun and remember to share your toys with the other children.
