Discourse:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discourse
"Archaic, The process or power of reasoning." - Dictionary.com
"... a form of power that circulates in the social field and can attach to strategies of domination as well as those of resistance" Michel Foucault
Discourse to me is simply Terminology, concepts or Words we commonly use when discussing a specific subject/ in a social structure. Philosophy usually uses broad terms of human Motives. Defining the grounds and understanding in the use of certain words is necessary in communicating broad ideas such as that philosophy has. But the grounds and understanding of your idea will only work if we have a power connection in communication, such as a Discourse. This would mean one idea could actually change another's discourse and understanding of philosophy; Power, the human Condition, Good, Bad, Justice, philosophical stance. Also things could be refuted. But We must set a sort of Rossetta stone to understand what we are a talking about... a unified dictionary/encyclopedia.
So, What is our Discourse?
Also, What should we reject as philosophical discourse?
