N or S

I've got a friend that i thought was INFJ, but then he tested ISFJ. I'm trying to figure out which one of them is right. And i really can't get a grip of if it should be N or S? Can u give me some guidance of how i should determine that?

hmm i doubt it's that easy to determine? just ask him one simple question?

maybe show them some good descriptions of both types, and see which he relates to more.

One way to begin answering this question might be to look at this thread and compare Introverted Sensing to Introverted Intuition, and check which one your friend relates to more, or something. INTJs have introverted intuition as their dominant function, and ISTJs has introverted sensing as their dominant function. As far as I can tell, that's the only difference. That might be a way of telling which type your friend is.

Bring up theory or anything outside the box. If they are ISFJ, they will be dominant Si, and have little tolerance for this...
