Well I just discovered that I'm an INTP a few months ago. I've done some reading and believe the MBTI to be a useful tool. Google led me to the two INTP forums. This one is much more visually seductive. I've read many interesting/funny posts on here, but some of the avatars and usernames are a "cause for concern" as my mom would say with a gleam in her eye.I'm a junior here at the U of Somewhere. Not too good at talking about myself, but what I hear most often from others is that I'm a brainiac and a people watcher.The only thing of interest that I can add is that next month my boyfriend and I are going to Europe for a month. He is fond of saying that this is our last summer to enjoy our lives, and starting next year it will be nothing but careers, kids, and a mortgage. A depressing thought, but I see where he's coming from. So we booked a flight to London, will catch the Eurostar to Paris and then take the European tour by eurail. If anybody out there has suggestions, we would be grateful. Neither of us have been outside the US.Guess that's the long way of saying hello to everyone, it's good to be here, but don't try any shit.

Your can't be autistic because of the flower because I'm sure I'm not. I believe the majority would see a face instead of a flower. The avatar is popularly used as representation of the person writing. We will then make a connection between what is an avatar, and what is that image on her avatar. (see Invictus, Kuu)

The face would be the first idea as it is "proper" with Si.

Watch out for the Paris people, they can be quite snobbish. And the islamic men, they are intense. Especially in certain areas. Make sure you go to the louvre and see the Mona Lisa. Go there several times. The Eiffel tower seems more like a touristy lights show than a historic monument, to me. Very anti-romantic. Don't go shopping too much, all the shops have the same things. Especially the stands outside. BTW this is all Paris suggestions

Neat avatar, I enjoy butterflies (I also enjoy feminine faces). Your boyfriend's comment that "this is the last summer to enjoy ourselves" is quite bothersome. Doesn't he think he'll enjoy the rest of his life with you? I think parenthood would be immensely enjoyable.. though paying for things like mortgages would not be fun, indeed. Still, I'd be pretty annoyed with that. I get that he's saying, "Let's really enjoy this trip." But at the same time, you should respond by saying something like.. "Let's really enjoy everything after the trip, too."

Flow, I'm having a rough day today and I'm full of melancholy. I dreamt that I have egg on my face. But I'm hoping that tomorrow I will wake up with laughter. My boyfriend has his ups and downs with me. Sometimes when he wants to touch me (or anybody wants to touch me for that matter) I scream and scurry off to snuggle with my rat. I totally agree with you flow, paying for anything isn't fun when you don't have any money. We are using whats left of our student loan money to go on our trip. I grew up po white trash, so I've had plenty of experience with hand-outs. And I'm sure we will be together forever and always find laughter. Thing is, I'm so clever that neither my boyfriend nor anyone else gets my humor. What's a girl to do? (Other than sit in front of my computer 12 hours a day.)

When you walk into a store, wait in line, buy some food, you are experiencing Te. When you walk down the street, you make eye contact with someone, they smile, you smile, you hold the open the door for someone, you are experiencing Fe. It is not just the gestures and the protocol itself, it is the fact that it is all apart of a working system. Humans have constructs for Society and our systems, and Fe and Te are basically the rules of the game.
