That's not as bad as I thought it would be, however I would stipulate that although changing one's diet to have less free radicals (from cooking, particularly burnt meat) and more antioxidants would decrease one's risk of cancer and heart disease simply eating right isn't a reason to forgo modern medicine.
The average lifespan has increased dramatically in the last century for a reason and it's obviously not because we've had healthier diets.
