In matters where the law can be enforced objectively - speed limits for instance - should it be? The tolerated-by-police speed limit on most roads, at least where I live, is probably 7-9 mph higher than what is stated on the signposts - would you prefer an absolute and strictly enforced [handled electronically with cameras, automated ticketing system] speed limit, or what we now have (at least in some parts of the US, things are different in the UK I hear...), a 'gray area' at the upper end of the scale, the pseudo-allowance for some risk-taking? Is this an 'American thing', the whole wily cowboy-yank shoot em' up, behind-closed-doors hush-hush disdain for law/authority?
* Also, do you sometimes drive at exactly/lil' below the stated speed limit when in front of pig-coppers, because you know it probably irritates them/because you're a passive-aggressive as*hole? I certainly do.
* Also, lizard, lichen, leer, loops, etc.
