I often wonder if I am the odd left handed left brained person, or even if such athing could exist. I am very logical/rational, like math and science...how does that fit? But, I also like art (right brain) and am not naturally good at certain parts of math. I have to work at it. And often I am too lazy to do so.

I can use both hands for different tasks. Writing and delicate tasks are accomplished with my left hand, along with picking-up objects and closing/opening doors. I throw and kick with my right side, and when playing the cello, I don't need to change the strings' arrangement, as I seen most lefties doing. My mom is right sided, and my dad does everything with his left side.
Like Sciencelady, I like arts, and some parts of Math require more effort from me, but I am also too lazy to improve. :)

I'm mostly a lefty so that's what i checked, but I'm actually somewhat ambidextrous. My left hand does all all the fine detail stuff like writing and such, while my right hand is reserved for more strength based stuff - throwing, opening doors, using heavy tools, etc.

When writing I'm right-handed. However I'm left-handed when....."something that males do when they hit puberty".

I am left-handed but right-footed.

It's also possible that my left ear can hear better, my left nostril breathes easier, and my right eye is a little cuter.:p

I write left-handed. I throw right-handed. I use forks and spoons left-handed and knives and scissors right-handed. I can bat comfortably (but not well in either case) both ways. It's called cross-dominant or mixed-handedness.

I thought that I was right-handed all until about recent... now I would say that I'm ambidextrous... Okay, at some things right hand is more active, at some others the left one... so none is really dominant. I started exercising my left hand writing about three years ago, starting from hypothesis that to be unable to write with the left hand is actually because you have to learn to write all from the start... I did that, now I write with both hands, and after that I do anything with both hands. So I ask myself IS there really right-handedness and left-handedness, or it is all about training?

I'm actually not sure which of my hands would be considered dominant. I write with my right hand, but I suspect that's just because I saw a teacher writing like that when I was little. Everything I learned to do before I learned to write ie eating, brushing my teeth, I do with my left hand. I'm definitely not ambidextrous though. I can't write left handed or hold a fork with my right hand.

Right handed, but like Red Mage I can bat right or left. That's all, and it's only because batting lefthanded was a handicap my younger brother and I used when we had batting contests. (He was three years younger, made a difference. And I was only about 70 percent as effective batting leftie.)

I started out left handed, but my teachers made me switch. I most commonly write with my right hand now, but I am fairly ambidextrous, and can write decently with my left hand, which I occasionally do.

Right handed when writing, but some things I do the 'wrong' way, like when using a knife and fork or playing hockey. So I guess I'm a not-so-ambidextrous?
