Sorry been absent so long, stuff. Still. this day first upgraded to 2.1.12, September and last iteration of that version issued today, in order to then move to 2.2.1, also issued today.

You might want to fix the search engine, it seems to be only returning errors.

Hmm, I see Bold, Italic etc. are gone if that's what you mean. I'll enquire.

As to the search engine also. Xenforo are not the best at clarity...

I've done a File Health Check and it passed.

Will look at other things; but my guess is that the Default 'Dark Castle' theme is partially borked [ Templates ]. I certainly can't code that template if so, will have to see if someone can fix it.


I miss the old Dark Castle we had when running the venerable but decrepit vBulletin...

Dunno. Just used the theme switcher at the base to display the genuine Default by Xenforo, and the tools are still missing. It's very bright.

Hmmm.

I just tried the hideous old Mozilla trick of disabling all add-ons, and most of the edit set are back. Can't really tell how different, since it is obviously the new Xenforo way...

I hate change.


Anyway will slowly enable each in turn until the interfering add-on blocks the edit set again.
