Just want to see if anyone else has heard or is interested in his work and ideas.
I find him very intelligent and his ideas fascinating.
Let me know your thoughts or views.

I already wrote a long criticism of the Venus project.
Very intelligent ? Well, in how to tell a lot of BS that can succeed to persuade many thousands of idiots that he has a project that can do any good to the world, and therefore, how to make millions on their donations, yeah.
In short : just a clone of Marxism with a bit of update to the developments of science fiction.

If you are looking for a scientific solution to make the world better, I have one (and people usually agree when a debate happens), and it would be very much cheaper to implement. Just a little part (<<1%) of the resources now wasted in the Venus "project" would suffice to change the world if invested in my project instead. But its followers lack the intellectual resources to understand this.

Interesting stuff.

Jacque Fresco is one of the most brilliant and innovative thinkers currently alive. His mind has sadly broken down a bit in the past few years (he's 97 years old now), but his ability to stand back from a situation and find a clever solution is excellent. So far, his Venus Project model is the best I've seen for creating an optimized society, and I actively support his efforts.
