Is borderline T still T, is borderline N still N? (By which I mean from 51%)

All my personality is at least 60% above, which means I am most likely an INTP, but this is question still unanswered. My speculation is that such a person has traits from both sides and wavers from one to the other depending on the situation. This can be good or bad, as it might symbolize flexibility.

In this case, I find it more useful to see which MBTI functions you identify with, as opposed to which MBTI type. For example, according to my signature which is fairly accurate, I'm nearly INTJ. But regardless of my J attributes, I still identify with the INTP's functions (Ti Ne Si Fe) instead of the INTJ's functions (Ni Te Fi Se).

The percentage values you get from your MBTI results are not quantitative. They represent your certainty rather than the degree to which you embody that trait. If you show 51% T, then you are 2% certain that you are a thinker rather than a feeler. At least as far as the test is concerned.

What's more important is to look carefully at the description of the type you got from the test. Sleep on it if necessary, and decide if it is accurate enough to describe you. If you feel like its a hair off, its not a bad idea to look at profiles that seem like feasible alternatives depending on what seemed amiss. When all's said and done, your test results are a starting point to self knowledge.

That being said, are there any parts of the description you read that seem out of place?

P.S. I'm four tequila shots in right now, so I apologize for how that effects my posts.

No, except that the fact that I go by

Ti, Si, Fe, and finally Ne.

I'm rather like what they describe on INTP, but I also fit descriptions on ISTP though. Also, I differ from other INTPs in the fact that people usually understand what I'm saying, though they sometimes clap and compliment me (or lose interest and tell me to stop or slow down). XD

I'm also not totally unaware of the environment, unlike some INTPs, I don't get completely get immersed in something that I lose mental contact with my environment, though that might be because I am diagnosed with ADHD.

And yes I also chuckle to myself a lot, but people understand my sense of humor too (though sometimes I say things that make people laugh which I don't find at all funny) except of course the ones that I have learned not to say aloud, and the ones I read in books.

I'm also not as reserved as most INTPs, though I am clearly more "I" than "E", since I always go to the library instead of sitting with other people. I can make friends pretty easily, though I am often critical people (I tend to analyze their faults, strengths, etc.)

But for a quick note, I was hated by the majority from my primary to middle school years though. Maybe it was during those times when my social life resembled more of other INTPs.
