Are you good at it?

Personally, I've spent quite some time trying to map out what's going on in the dim cesspool of my emotions. I have some difficulties in doing so, but I believe that I have reflected more on the matter than the majority of my peers. At the very least, I now have some qualified hypotheses as to why I feel like I do when I do. My feelings used to be utterly inexplicable to me, so I suppose significant progress has been made. Still, old patterns are hard to break.

I must be terrible at it. I can feel sad or angry or happy and have absolutely NO idea why. I can't say I look really hard anymore though. I used to try and couldn't reach conclusions.

I psychoanalyze myself all the time. I try to figure out why I do the things I do and why I feel the way I do, and I've, at times, come up with some fairly accurate answers, I think. It didn't help me, though, because knowing why I was doing something didn't help me to know what to do or to force myself to talk to anyone about it. I constantly try to define my personality and my essence, but I seem to constantly elude my grasp. Perhaps, though, it's simply that I'm constantly changing, so my previous evaluations of myself are no longer completely valid and must be redefined.

i have always been hyper-sensitive of how i feel. i kinda always figured this would be a natural result of intp's desire to understand everything . . . surprised to hear about how bad intp's are at understanding their own feelings, i just thought they were bad at expressing them.

^I think they mean they cannot grasp the source of their feelings, even though they can identify the feelings themselves.

In theory, we wouldn't be so good at this variety of soul searching as we have Fe instead of Fi.

Having a very strong Fi with a very weak Fe is very hard to cope with....

Soth:
Theoretically Fi should be your very weakest function.

I feel like I do, but I also feel like theres some kind of cognitive bias in play that might have some kind of impact on how accurate I really am. Almost like reading your own tarot cards .
