Intpcentral vs this site

Is anyone here a member of intpcentral.com? I don't know why but that forum doesn't appeal to me the way this one does. Even though we're all supposedly the same type, it seems way more laid back and comfortable here. Anyone agree?

The general consensus here is that we kick ass in comparison. However while I do have an account, I haven't spent any real time there. I cannot judge.

I still have a functioning account there. Not visited in a long while.

I didn't fit in there. I don't yet know if I fit in here. There seems to be less of a need to have a chip on the shoulder here. Also Christians tend to be summarily dismissed there - try posting something good about the Bible there and see what happens.

I haven't seen any sort of real due process in either place, however. The argument at INTPc is that the forums do not have paid prosecutors and judges. Apparently that justifies summary banning. I haven't seen this issue arise here yet.

The only reason I'm here instead of at intpcentral is because some INTP type description listed intpforum first, and intpcentral just below it. But I've never been there.

Here, we argue no such contrivances. People are just removed and no-one's the wiser.

Yeah you're probably right, especially about the black background. That makes a surprisingly huge difference.

really? that's one of the things that attracted me to this place, its polished design. the INTPc forums look too cluttered.

You can choose the standard VB style. At least that's what I did, the black one causes my eyes to bleed rather quickly.

I tried it, but I went back to the default black. I'm not sure how to explain it, but I think I wanted to keep intact the same ambience that the rest of the forum gets. I wanted, in some sense, the 'authentic' experience.

lol. uh, I suppose the main difference is simply the number of members. Because we have fewer, we can hold our members more accountable for outrageous claims and trolling tendencies. Members are more visible here. IntpC simply has too many members, its fucking chaos (and I do believe several of those members have been mistyped as well).

RE INTPc:
I'd guess there's a high concentration of Ne there, as well as a lot of americans.

I actually really like INTPc. A lot of them seem to be narrow-minded gits, but the personalities are so boldly-defined and diverse. I also enjoy their type of humour.
