Everyone seems addicted to this mypersonality.info page. I took the test and was INTP, though I didn't find the reading as accurate as the official MBTI I took with CPP.

I had never heard of the multiple intelligences test. It struck me as similar to the Strong Inventory (yet another test I took.) I wanted to get my MI to work on my profile, something I'm still working on, but I've noticed that my results are different from most who are posting their MI.

I thought it was interesting that my naturalistic was highest and most people's I've seen have had Musical somewhere near the top.

If you have one, post yours. I'd like to look at as many as I can to compare and contrast (aka analysis). I'm very curious to see if there is any pattern.

BTW, I won't have any of that "we're all different" and there's no pattern crap. There are some obvious similarities in the MBTI and the MI that should overlap. For instance Visual/Spatial should for INTPs.

I scored high in almost all categories for some odd reason.

I disagree with the interpersonal, but i do agree with the musical.

Multiple Intelligence, I believe, is based on preference/opinion. MBTI is based more on personality aka the way we think and act.

Well that's how the test on MI felt to me anyways.

That test makes me sound as screwed up as Mr. Spock, with both Logical and Naturalist so prominent. Music is right, but the Bodily/Kinesthetic seems too high. I'm not a slug, but the only athletic thing I do is ride my bike fairly often. I'll never be a dancer or an athlete, but I am good at working with my hands. That part of the test is too broad and vague in it's definitions. Motor skills yes; likes to be active...only if I have to, or if I feel like riding.
Verbal and Linguistic should be separate. I'm not at all verbal, yet I love to write: I spell well, and am competent in the use and understanding of the English language.
I think they are making their determinations based on too few questions.

Six stories up.
I also have Naturalist as #1.. I think it has to do a lot with how and where I grew up... in a small town with a back door that led to 10,000+ acres of unoccupied land. Musical ended up at the bottom for me and I can kind of understand that.. music is a very large part of my life in that I'm friends with a lot of musicians and have written songs etc. Music takes a strong effort for me though.. it doesn't come naturally.

Created this a long while ago. (3/4 year ago or so)
(A few things i wouldn't agree with though. I think Visual/Spatial shouold be much higher, i'm pretty good at the Spatial part at least, having no problem whatsoever to use maps, to envision the area i'm standing in as a map/birds perspective and so on. I think the questions weere a bit focused on visual art, but to art in general i have no real connection, at least not how other people have it)

I guess my fascination with the great outdoors/save the planet mentality is obvious (see sig).

To Clarify:

"
Multiple Intelligences is Howard Gardner's psychological theory about people and their different types of intelligences (logical, visual, musical, etc.). This free test will help you discover your strongest types of intelligence and how these types helps you to learn. "

Verbal/Linguistic: People good with speaking, writing and memory
Logical/Mathematical: People driven by logic and reason
Visual/Spacial: Visual memory, awareness of surroundings
Bodily/Kinesthetic: Love movement, have good motor skills, and are aware of their bodies
Musical: Musically gifted, have a good ear for rhythm and composition.
Intrapersonal: Adept at looking inward
Interpersonal: Good with people, thrive in social situations
Naturalist: A sensitivity to and appreciation for nature.

Correct my numbers if I'm off:
1st:
Naturalist: 3 (33.3%)
Musical: 2 (22.2%)
Logical:1 (11.1%)
Visual/Spatial:1 (11.1%)
Intrapersonal:1 (11.1%)
Verbal/Linguistic:1 (11.1%)

2nd:
Logical:2 (22.2%)
Visual/Spatial:2 (22.2%)
Naturalist:1 (11.1%)
Musical:1 (11.1%)
Intrapersonal:1 (11.1%)
Verbal/Linguistic:1 (11.1%)
Kinesthetic: 1 (11.1%)

3rd:
Musical: 3 (33.3%)
Logical: 3 (33.3%)
Intrapersonal: 1 (11.1%)
Naturalist: 1 (11.1%)
Verbal/Linguistic: 1 (11.1%)

Total:
Musical: 6 (22.2%)
Logical: 6 (22.2%)
Naturalistic: 5 (18.5%)
Visual/Spatial: 3 (11.1%)
Intrapersonal: 3 (11.1%)
Verbal/Linguistic: 3 (11.1%)
Kinesthetic: 1 (3.7%)

Hmm, not even one near 40-50%.

It would seem that the chances of an INTP having Musical, Logical or Naturalistic somewhere in their first three is 62.9%.
INTPs have a tendency to be musically inclined, rational and have an appreciation for nature.

However, the chances of one INTP having all of these in their top three is 11.1% 1/9.

Thanks to those who contributed. It would be helpful to have more. I'm going to invade other forums and see if I can get more results.

Gah. I lost posts here too. Did you see my post before the forum rollback, Zero? I'm too lazy right now to write it all again, but if you want to I could....

I didn't see it before, but I can put it in now. That's 11 now. *calculating*

1st:
Naturalist: 3 (27.3%)
Musical: 3 (27.3%)
Visual/Spatial: 2 (18.2%)
Intrapersonal:1 (9.1%)
Verbal/Linguistic:1 (9.1%)
Logical:1 (9.1%)

2nd:
Logical: 4 (36.4%)
Visual/Spatial: 2 (18.2%)
Naturalist:1 (9.1%)
Musical:1 (9.1%)
Intrapersonal:1 (9.1%)
Verbal/Linguistic:1 (9.1%)
Kinesthetic: 1 (9.1%)

3rd:
Musical: 3 (27.3%)
Logical: 3 (27.3%)
Verbal/Linguistic: 2 (18.2%)
Intrapersonal: 1 (9.1%)
Naturalist: 1 (9.1%)
Visual/Spacial: (9.1%)

Total:
Logical: 8 (24.2%)
Musical: 7 (21.2%)
Naturalistic: 5 (15.2%)
Visual/Spatial: 5 (15.2%)
Verbal/Linguistic: 4 (12.2%)
Intrapersonal: 3 (9.1%)
Kinesthetic: 1 (3%)

There is loosely a 45.2% chance of an INTP getting Logical and Musical in their MI (almost half) 30.4% chance of getting Naturalistic or Spatial.

This makes me wonder how I didn't get Logical/Mathematical...

. . . One of my frequently used passwords is a series of numbers multiples of 9 to 3.

I posted something like this on an INFP forum and they had no interest what so ever. I know they do the test, I see their signatures. Not one is willing to post their results or even post in the thread.

Of course, the puppyquiz has the most replies...

I know there are more people on these forums who have taken the test, but I only take result from those who offer them.

My signature

I thought it was odd that I got the same percentages with my 'Intuition' 'Thinking' and 'Perceiving'. My Multiple Personality percentages also decreased by ten percent for each one.

I took each test several times and tried to do it when my head was 'clear'.
I think these results are fairly accurate, my 'Thinking' might be a tad lower and I don't think my 'Verbal/Linguistic' should be that high.

I know these tests aren't to go or to follow by but I still find them helpful or fun? To see what it came up with.

Total:
Logical: 9 (75%)
Musical: 7 (58.3%)
Naturalistic: 5 (41.7%)
Visual/Spatial: 5 (41.7%)
Verbal/Linguistic: 5 (41.7%)
Intrapersonal: 4 (33.3%)
Kinesthetic: 1 (8.3%)

Logic has over a fifty percent chance of showing up in an INTPs top multiple intelligence. Musical almost a 60% chance.

1st:
Naturalist: 3 (25.%)
Musical: 3 (25%)
Visual/Spatial: 2 (16.7%)
Verbal/Linguistic: 2 (16.7%)
Intrapersonal:1 (8.3%)
Logical:1 (8.3%)

2nd:
Logical: 4 (33.3%)
Visual/Spatial: 2 (16.7%)
Intrapersonal: 2 (16.7%)
Naturalist:1 (8.3%)
Musical:1 (8.3%)
Verbal/Linguistic:1 (8.3%)
Kinesthetic: 1 (8.3%)

3rd:
Logical: 4 (33.3%)
Musical: 3 (25%)
Verbal/Linguistic: 2 (16.7%)
Intrapersonal: 1 (8.3%)
Naturalist: 1 (8.3%)
Visual/Spacial: (8.3%)

Hmm, there isn't a clear pattern of order of preference (40-50%)The second place has the most variety as it were.

I wasn't too sure about these results. I didn't think Bodily/Kinesthetic should be so low, since I a definitely a kinesthetic learner. I am not athletic or graceful, to be sure, but that one should have been higher than Visual/Spatial, which I think of as my weakest areas.

Looking forward to the results of this little poll.

you people scored so much higher on percentages. My highest I think was 75%. Its the link in my sig. I tried multiple times to post the image but it would never work for me so I just put the link instead.

edit: just noticed all of mine are sequential besides the 20% I got on interpersonal which isn't even displayed

In my sig. It's quite correct, though I highly doubt this "test" have any merit whatsoever
