1. How old are you?
2. What have you done thus far (this may simply be attend school depending on your age)?
3. What sorts of talents do you think you have, from your experience in school and/or elsewhere (math, writing, science...)?
Hey Jay, I'm in the same sort of state right now. I'm doing *nothing* and wondering what I should do before I'm flat broke. Nothing interests me terribly and the thought of getting a job is torturous enough to make me stop thinking it.
By the way, I got interested in poker for a while and got pretty good at it. I got a job at a casino as a house player - they paid me to play poker. It was awesome for a while, but the constant exposure to people and the stress of playing the game eventually burned me out. I lasted a year though, which is a long time for one of my endeavors.
I've moved on from poker to trading the stock market. But trading is pretty slow right now and so is boring me.
Heh, INTP careers are difficult to choose. Unless we're really passionate about something, we're apt to dislike whatever sort of job we get into. Maybe I'm just a pessimist on this.
Isn't that somewhat circular logic? "If you agree, you agree. If you disagree, you agree."No, this is a perfect description. Anyone who disagrees is passionate about something.
That's not circular logic. That's...dammit, there's a particular logical fallacy here...OK it's actually several at once:All of my logic is circular. Aristotle said the circle is nature's most perfect shape, ergo circular logic is the most perfect logic.
That's not circular logic.
It wasn't logic.
is an example of logic, albeit fallacious logic.Aristotle said the circle is nature's most perfect shape, ergo circular logic is the most perfect logic.

wtf?! I have a bachelors*, and I find all the bachelors jobs "tedious, repetitive, and having no lasting impact or reason for me to care". I really hope I'm wrong though, and find something cool soon. It's a fucked up situation that I don't wish to anyone.I'm having issues with that atm. Any job available to me is tedious, repetitive, and has no lasting impact or reason for me to care about what I'm doing. All the jobs I'd love to have require at least a bachelor's degree.
