Hi Hikky and welcome!

Nice to see another young members here, too.
What is it like to be homeschooled?
It's... a blessing and a curse.
I've gotten lots of things done I never would have gotten done in regular school. I've enjoyed lots of free time and lack of social obligations.
The biggest underlying problem with it, for me, is that my parents don't understand my procrastinating problem, and I end up just saying I did the work, when I didn't do it, and they believe me for lack of will to investigate.
Since the deadlines in homeschooling are veeery far off it becomes easy to procrastinate.
It also made me even more socially awkward than I already was..
Although I used to be overweight, and I've lost around 60 pounds on a diet I never could have maintained with daily obligations like school.. and I think I've gotten to know myself better, as well as all the things I've learned that they don't teach in school.
Really, the biggest problem is dealing with my extended family. They expect me to be an over-achiever like my cousin, and they're not so clueless as my parents.. I end up dodging questions regarding my schooling whenever I see them.
Well, at any rate, once I head off to college (Although I'll have to start in a community college), things should hopefully fall back into place... hopefully. If only me and academia could get along..
At least I'll be able to test out of a few courses, like language.
Sorry for the long post.
