Hello everyone, I decided to join to this forum because I discovered I am an INTP there are some days and I want to know others INTP :).

First, I am a man of 19 years old and I live in the West of France (it could explain faults into my text :phear: )

I saw the MBTI test on a forum and tryed it, I don't know if it is as so reliable as a specialist but I see that INTP is the most looking like to my personality!

Today, I am student in computer scientist, and I like computer (of course :p) , cinema, music, video games and a pratice Swimming, I practiced also scuba diving before.

I am happy to know that I will can talk with personsality like me, because I think there is not really INTP into my familly or my friends, it is a little bit depressing  .

See you later in the forum.

Hey. Nice to have you. I'm lucky enough to have two INTPs as friends and have about 2 more INTJ's as friends... maybe we're magnetic...to everyone else we push away, to ourselves we seek each other out... hmmm.... But, yeah. I swear everyone with our type is into computers to SOME degree. I'd like to find someone here who ISN'T into computers...

Gah! French! I quit french a year ago because I realized I hated it. Moved onto Latin. I now have in depth discussions about vulgar latin poetry with my INTx friend at lunchtimes...

Well, computers aren't my primary hobby. I just like using computers, but doesn't everyone? I'm one of the few INTPs that is more into art than technology and science, but in a way, there's a science to art.

True, True. Art is a science, and science is also an art. My two interests (comps and music) are currently fighting a battle for time. My sister is into art though, and you could always do graphic art using computers. The two are not necessarily separate.

My understanding of technology, is that it provides an outlet which allows you to kinda have to be listhend to, to an extent. You have a very different voice compared to that of the real world. Your thoughts can be developed, and articulated at your descretion, and computers allow a quiet place to be away, and just think, learn... There an effective outlet of information, and a great tool for intelligent discussion, or perhaps a more "directed" discussion. If that makes sense...

It makes perfect sense. Part of the reason I don't like talking to people is that they take something I've said in a second, and pull it back at the end of an argument, when I'm arguing an entirely different point.

I want to learn that French. Mostly I just want to pick up on French girls. I was told by my hair cutter that she knew a guy married to a French girl and she not only let him, but expected him to have a "nerd cave" where he could do his thing and she wouldn't be worried about it at all. That, and a culture with way less sexual hangups seems like a perfect fit, and I have been obsessed with the idea ever since. Seems crazy over there though. Way too socialist for me, but then isn't America these days.

And a tangent...

Anyways, just trying to establish a foothold and say what up. 19 is a tough time, but the great thing I am learning about being a guy(25 now and only getting older) is that when men get older they only look better and feel better about themselves and their individuality. They also grow beards(certain genotypes-French can, unless I have made a wrong assumption) and beards rule. Way less effort than shaving everyday.

I also have heard that there is a way more limited vocab in French than English, so it might not be too hard to get. It does have gender based wording, though and I hate that.
