Hey folks-

So I was all into this website, was removed from it for a number of days, returned, and try as I might, I just can't give a crap about anything anyone is saying. It's like- been there, done that. In other words, I think I've totally exhausted this whole INTP business.

You all seem nice and all, but isn't that part of the whole INTP personality profile? Don't we get into something and then once we understand it, we lose interest?

So I'm trying to understand why a number of you appear to have been devotees for months and years- aren't you bored?

I've spent too much time in my own thoughts and I think they have turned strange. I'm here for a sanity check. So far I'm leaning toward only about 17% sane.

I actually just enjoy talking to other INTP's. All my friends are E's...so it's nice to take a break from them and talk to people who are depressing like me...

Ew, I can get that. Fortunately most people I know are 'I's. The creation of this whole Chrisid is piquing my curiosity, which I enjoy. Kind of like XIII. Livens things up a bit. And I get to be a jerk.

I like you, by the way, SlyGuy. I was thinking about what you said in whatever thread it was about INTPs pretending their faults into attributes this weekend. Because I was being a lazy-ass mofo last week, saying that's just the way I am, but then I was being a responsible adult this weekend and it felt good.

I come and go because I like it here. Sometimes I don't get into what's being talked about and go do something else. I'm happy to have found people who can understand the real me.

Yea, I like me too. Everybody needs to improve themselves. That is, I think, one of the purposes of life. I just think that INTP's are very "special" and that we need "special" unconventional ways to improve ourselves. We need to think outside of the box, you know? INTP's naturally tend to be lazy. But when we actually commit ourselves to do something we become motivated and in turn "happier" and more satisfied.

This is what I have learned from this forum. This is why I came to this forum. To better understand myself and by that "improve" myself. I was sick of getting advice from people who didn't understand me. All they gave me were the generic "try hard and be happy" bullshit. Well you guys know how it is.

After about a month on this forum, I have become much more happy. Thank you to whoever started this forum.

Maybe the motto for the forum should be, "A special site for special people."

Yeah, I think that's why I came here, too. But I'm not sure that it's improving me. I think actually working on my novel was probably improving me more. But it is nice to chit-chat.

This place has helped me with my writing too. It's also helped me be less lazy. Now that I understand it's a natural inclination, I find myself more determined to go against it. Not that I'll ever break it but it could become habit.

I get bored with it at times. I'm only here now to mourn the loss of XIII2. That guy was pretty. Didn't that snowqueen kill him/her/it or something? or maybe it was the pig flu? Either way, a tragedy indeed. Tragic.

Same for me. There are some things that I have been pondering that I literally can't discuss with any other person I know. Because they are not INTPs and don't spend their life deep in thought, their eyes always glaze over far before I can even begin to get to my point. And if they do hear me out, they have no idea what I am talking about.

A note to b.e.i.f: if you need to be productive, stop procrastinating by reading forums. Type 2 procrastination is the worst and nothing anyone says in this thread will make it into a type 1.
