Hello everybody,

Just wanted to tip my hat and say a quick 'howdy do.' This looks to be a great forum - there's some great dialogue and thought in some of the threads.

I tried "one of the other" INTP forums out there, and it was just a bit too narcissistic/chaotic/petty for my tastes. Just seemed a bit crowded and grumpy, you know? This forum looks to be a bit more my cup of tea.

I'm an America citizen living in New Zealand, and as such I might bring a different viewpoint to the table on some things.

Anyways, I look forward to some good discussions.

Well, I'm not a "Kiwi." But I have certainly been called a "Yank." Which, depending on inflection and volume, can insinuate a number of things, good and bad.

Sometimes you have to force yourself to turn off the analytical machine in your head. You can drive yourself crazy analyzing every first impression, currency eqivalency, cultural similarity, etc. LOL
