I cannot find a document. It is lying somewhere around. I am sure that it was in some bag or other but I have gone through the bags to no avail.

I am going mad, mad, mad.

ARGH!!!!!

Slamming things around works not only to help find your lost item but also to restore sanity.

I never lose anything. When something is missing it is because someone moved it.

Did that. At least, it helped with the latter.

My mother (an ESTJ) came a few months back and "helped" me "pack" my stuff by putting all my documents into boxes.

I screamed at her and she promised not to do it again, but I'm still feeling the effects until now.

It is very interesting. I didn't touch many things after the move because I was afraid to mess things up further. Yesterday, I looked through one of the clear plastic folders she put the documents in. In it, inter alia, were insurance statements, bank statements (personal), bank statements (corporate), company resolutions, photocopies of certificates, scrap paper on which I had written some music on a whim.

Seriously, how are ESTJs organised? My huge piles were way better organised than that. On my desk I always had a few piles, and all the documents in those piles were all related. The central section looked a mess because it was meant to be a mess; the documents were uncategorised & possibly uncategorisable at that point. I put receipts and name cards together with documents because it made sense for them to be together. It is very hard to understand why all name cards or receipts should be placed in one box just because they are name cards or receipts. Or why I should have to staple a receipt to a document - what if I want it to be associated with 2 documents, &c, which i do not want stapled together? And of course the messiness varied with the free time I had - more free time, less mess since I'd be able to move the stuff.

It would not be very reasonable to rant at her again, because I have already done so.

I am almost certainly going to go mad. Especially since I have no free time. There is no quick fix for this nonsense. GAAAH!

We're here for you. That is, until they lock you up. I'm afraid we cannot follow you there. On the plus side, it's hard to lose things in a padded white room. :babytap:

You probably didn't need the document, anyways. I would tell you to think like an ESTJ, but then we won't like you. Of course, I don't think anyone likes anyone else here to begin with. Hmm. Kind of makes that group hug a little awkward.

I got a good laugh out of that post Glordag, to answer the question you didn't exactly ask, i do enjoy a lot of people here. Despite not having any personal relationship, or even a direct back and forth post more than 2 or 3 statements long.. with pretty much anyone on this forum :phear: i do enjoy what little time i spend here. In fact i much prefer reading through conversations had here than talking to any friends i have. There is much more of a variety of topics that i find interesting. When with friends, i pretty much depend on having some kind of immediate entertainment available, anything, because conversation almost never gets beyond joking around or discussing said entertainment. Any attempts i make at technical or theoretical conversation literally leave me being instantly ignored or cut off, or just trailing off due to their lack of interest until i just quit talking.

To remain on topic though :D i lose my shit a lot man... i cant necessarily think of anything much more significant than a guitar pick or two off the top of my head. But it is pretty much always due to one of two factors. 1. I tend to sit things in obscure places 2. My mom (ISTJ) incessantly finds the need to clean my room whenever she feels like it, despite it never really being dirty.. because i dont do anything  Most of the disorder in my room is focused on my tiny computer desk, which is just simple things like a cup or two, a plate, guitar picks, a pocket knife  that somehow always ends up back over here.

Luckily, i don't really have anything that i care too much about, makes it easy to not lose anything when you don't care where it is to begin with. :phear:

That being said, eventually there will be a situation where i am tearing my room apart like :storks: what the hell

i know i put it here

or

or

annnnnnd !!

Screw it.. i will find it later.
