Mom, ESFJ and Dad, ENTJ
Me, male, INTP
Brother who tested as ENFJ but probably is not.
Little brother who is likely ETJ but he's too young to tell.

My current location is classified.
We might have a thread for this.

Mother - INTJ/INTP
Father - ENFJ (or ENFP)
Brothers - INTJ and INFP
Maternal Grandfather - ISTJ
Maternal Grandmother - ESFP
Paternal Grandfather - ESFJ, maybe ESTJ
Paternal Grandmother - XSFJ
Paternal Uncle - ESTX (was in the military, but has a good sense of humor, so probably ESTP)
Paternal Uncle - ISTP, most likely
Paternal Aunt - INFX (very kind and liberal-minded, which caused/causes some conflict with my mostly conservative paternal grandparents)
Maternal Uncle - ISTP with a chance of INTP, but I doubt it. He has an affinity for whisky but isn't an alcoholic.

Whoa, I decided to write a lot more.

EDIT: I just noticed that THD is INFJ. Wow I'm really late to these types of things.

Hmm, I was wondering this the other day. The sad fact is, I can't type my parents for certain. My dads passed and my moms an alcoholic... Taking that into account...

Me: INTP
Mom: ESFP. She might have been ESFJ before the booze took ahold.
Dad: XNTX
Bro: ISXP

I have a large family, got a few to test them selves.
Got an ENTP uncle, (he's just hilarious when he's not being serious, today he informed me that all walkers crisps expire on a saturday, after spending 15 minutes creating riddles about the exspiry date on a packet he was examining haha), INTP cousin, and another ESFP aunt in close proximity.

There is another thread on this, but I know typings change as people's understandings of typology changes, so...

What I know "for sure":

Me: INFJ
Sister: ISFP
Brother: suspected xNFJ
Paternal Grandmother: ISFJ
Paternal Grandfather: suspected xSTP
Father: xSxx? :D
Mother: xxFx? :D
Maternal Grandmother: xxFx? :D (Seems like a different xxFx than mother)
Maternal Grandfather: Ixxx? :D

When did you conclude you were an INFJ, THD? :p

Me: INFJ (Feel certain it's closest fit)
Sister: ESFJ
Mother: ESFP
Father: INxJ

I have no prejudice against ESFJs or ESFPs unlike a lot here, and have a pretty strong relationship with my Mother and Sister tbh, I honestly just think that's their closest fit.

My Father was a more difficult conclusion to come to.... I think there's a tendency to assume your parents are Si (would inititally assume ISTJ for him) or Se as you feel you can't relate to them, where quite often intuitives just become broken or so weak under the pressures of adapting to society that they become unrecognisable. Ni-doms' Ni in particular imo just seems to be really 'on' or 'off', once it starts it's very likely to snowball and become the centre of the individual's development, but it can very easily be buried by an individual's circumstances and never develop. He's a repressed and undeveloped Ni lead I think.

Fukyo got me.

And then I read this and it literally described all the problems in my life:
INFJ: Ti/Ni or Ni/Ti--Schizoid Personality Disorder. These types are socially incompetent for lack of trying, because they see little to no value in significant interaction with others. They live in their own abstract worlds, constantly second-guessing themselves as Ti poses a framework for a problem and Ni shoots it down as too definitionally precise. Without any real external input, these two functions will dream up all sorts of elaborate systems and implications for them, only to repeat their own self-defeating behavior, never bothering to emphasize putting any of its intense ideas into practice. Frequent disregard for rules, laws and other forms of behavioral standards is common, as no function provides any significant sense of external influence. If Se/Fe were doing its job, the user would recognize the value of connecting with others and of paying attention to their needs, preferences, habits and appearances.

And then I read this. And they all applied, except the SP wannabe.

I'm wondering if there's a genetic correlation between family's types. But aside from correlation I think there might be a method for determining types, like a punnent square for functions or something.
