I work at a junior high school. I wonder if I could convince the drama teacher at my school that that is a long lost Shakespearean play and get them to perform it.

We could just say that, through the use of super cool science trancendence technology, humans are turned into perfect god-like beings. End of story. It's boring, but answers the question.
