Huge tool for communication easily misconstrued as a tool for undermining communication by other types? Discuss.

While you're at it, discuss why other types prefer 1 word/phrase e-mails, and why INTPs are frequently accused of "writing a book" when more than 2 sentences are involved.

Emails are really only used for business purposes and spam these days. I rarely write any friends or family using emails. Mostly because people don't check their emails regularly.

I hope you're only speaking for yourself. Otherwise, every single person I know, myself included, seem to be a part of some weird minority whose majority counterpart hasn't even the common decency to tell the minority the bitter truth. If you're the other side's ambassador, though, I thank you for informing me. I will take this to my people. Good day to you.

lol yea I'm just talking about myself.

Actually, I have been emailing my cousins recently...So maybe as you get older you become more patient. Writing is also the only way I can really express myself, so when I do write an email, it is pretty damn long.

I disagree. "Writing a book" is only possible if topic is interesting. Otherwise my emails tend to be laconic to the point of what other types consider rude - especially skipping over useless chit-chat and greetings. Most people tend to write something in between, regardless of the topic.
