Well, i find this test quite stupid and exagerating. I mean, yes, i got the two "shizoid"* too at (very) high, but i have no mental disorder. Did you read the wikiarticle to "Schizoid Personality Disorder"? Just because we are not that apt in social situations and rather mostly like to be alone or with few, we don't have that disorder^^ There is a difference between normal character traits and mental disorder...

Of course man, noone would consider that test a diagnose. They tend to have an "ideal" person in mind when they make it and anyone different from that is considered a messedd up, subnormal, pathetic,... well, you get the idea :p

I did it for the lulz
(That explains it all)

Well, ok, i didn't want to be the lulz-killer :D (Just wanted to point to that "ideal person" and question the validity of it)

Although... now that I think of it Wikipedia says that 1% of the population is schizoid, and its said that 1% of the population are INTPs... mhhh this starts to make sense :p

Wikipedia said:
ICD-10 criteria

According to the ICD-10, schizoid personality disorder is characterized by at least four of the following criteria:

1-Emotional coldness, detachment or reduced affection.
2-Limited capacity to express either positive or negative emotions towards others.
3-Consistent preference for solitary activities.
4-Very few (if any) close friends or relationships, and a lack of desire for such.
5-Indifference to either praise or criticism.
6-Taking pleasure in few, if any, activities.
7-Indifference to social norms and conventions.
8-Preoccupation with fantasy and introspection.
9-Lack of desire for sexual experiences with another person.

Let me see...

1- Yes
2- Not sure
3- Yes
4- Yes
5- Not sure
6- No (if theorical) / Yes (if practical)
7- Yes
8- Yes
9- No

Houston, we have a problem ;)

I tested low on everything, except narcissistic, on which I tested moderate.

I don't really see it as an important test. But, I can see how it could highlight problem areas for some people.

I once read that Jung highly criticized his contemporaries' excessive focus on making psychology based on "disorders" or "mental illness", because they centered mostly on the "shadow" of people's personalities, instead of an explanation based on positive core motivations. In such systems, everyone ends up being a degenerate, crazy, obsessed, dysfunctional person... and nobody is "normal"

casually playing guitar in my mental arena
high in schizoid, schizotypal, avoidant, and narcissistic, and low in everything else. I don't buy personality disorders. I'll admit that my personality is slightly dysfunctional, but I'm hardly debilitated by my quirks.

Schizotypal is high, the rest are moderate or low. I got low on narcissistic, which is odd, seeing most the other INTPs are getting "high" for it.

A lot of this is true about me. Should I be concerned? Or rather, should others be concerned?

If anything, I'm constantly looking for a disorder that would fit me.

So far, I have a few candidates. DSPD, ADHD and SPD.

It's actually funny. I'm the kind of person who says that there is no such thing as a normal person as everyone is different. Therefore it would also be fitting for everyone to have some form of a disorder, right? But why is it that I'm almost searching for one, I wonder.

For my results on this one, I got two very highs, Schizotypal and Schizoid. And actually, I find them fitting to some extent. Others were Moderate or Low.

My results were very high for Schizotypal, which I think is probably right. :D I say embrace your flaws.

If I had to rate my emotional stability on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say "pleased"!

I have defined these type of personality type identification as an auxiliary operating system caused by choice or psycho-social circumstances on top of the Keirsey personality types.

I don't think I'm highly obsessive compulsive...haha

I do know that I have been diagnosed and treated for anxiety/panic disorder :( Wonder if a lot of people with this personality type deal with this too?

I tend to have alot of anxieties, but I don't often panic unless it means I've hurt or wronged someone who I thought didn't deserve it.
