data bases?

My local rural library has somehow acquired access to a nice little set of data bases...

I was wondering if there was not some way (preferably legal) to get links to data bases on the forum. I have come across a lot of interesting articles, but I have no way to share them with forum members, if they do not have access to the same data bases...

EDIT: I wonder how much trouble it would be to acquire the 'legal' standing of a Library or a School in different members countries? I think that either can get free access to some databases...(?)

I'm not totally sure what type of data bases you are referring to. Could you give an example, perhaps a link ?

Like JSTOR or Ebscohost? I have access to these by virtue of paying my fees as a university student. I've found that every once in a while one can find a given article already available for "free" online. When you find one you would like to share- google it- there may be a free route to it.

As for access to databases via this forum...I don't know. It is my understanding that whatever institution is supplying access to them pays for the privilege. A non-perfect solution is to post the cite for the article and those here with access can look it up on their own.
