Word of advice: Depression is oftentimes described as a continual 'sinking' feeling, i.e. like being caught in quicksand. It is my opinion that, in this regard, this phenomenon could be likened to a recursive feedback loop, i.e one is continually sad about feeling sad or depressed about feeling depressed and the more one fights against these emotions then the stronger they become expressed.
Try a little bit of positive thinking. I hope this may help you.
